10 Video games any 90’s kid should have played

6. Might and Magic.

I really wish I remembered more of these games. With pretty poor graphics and seemingly more effort put into character portraits the game was pretty lame. But I loved it all the same! While class choice while creating characters pretty much defined what melee weapons you could carry, everyone could learn magic or to use a bow. I never really bothered with the story line, I mostly marched my party about blasting down monsters to steal their gold and loot before returning to town then heading off somewhere new, only focussing on enhancing my characters ability and armour when I reached something I couldn’t kill quickly. I’m almost tempted to dig out the game. Now to be fair the first of this series was released in 1986 so I’m possibly being a spoiled brat of the final fantasy generation bitching out the lack of graphics and eye candy cut scenes, that being said I played this game for hour and hours and is possibly responsible for my heavy set frame, that and the old woman next door who would stuff me full of cakes only to realise I wouldn’t fit in her oven, (not an innuendo). It was one of those rare gems back when you could get computer games for a fiver down your local shop. Now its fifty quid for a game that’s only going to charge you another forty for whatever dlc it’ll be pumping out in a few weeks time. Ah, remember the good old days guys when games had all their content intact? Nope? Well… sucks to be you kid.

What do you think?
