Wondershot Review

Wondershot is a local multiplayer battle arena game that looks like it was developed from bomberman but with less fun and humour added.

From Leikir Studio you have the option of controlling four possible characters one wielding a bow and arrow, the other with a hammer, one with a slingshot and the other has a boomerang. You only have one slot for ammo and if you waste it you can either retract it or find more drops in the arena, you also have one life so make it count.

“Wondershot requires players to have skill as it is a game that isn’t built on luck”

Controlling Wondershot is simple but the game gets very repetitive, you can battle with three other friends in the arena or bask on the adventure mode where you compete in challenges or endless battles.

The challenges have objectives that you can choose to do or just play out the challenges until the next begins, each challenge boosts your rent which doesn’t actually give you anything to do in the arena so is kind of pointless. Although you can try to take in the secs score for that said challenge.

The enemies begin in a sort of orb shaped monster…they look nothing like a monster or act like one, but then there are other monsters that unlock as you progress through the challenges chapters.

Visually the game is an animated cluster of regret and sounds are something from Nickelodeon, the game is aimed at a younger audience and lacks any challenge for hardcore gamers.

As it pans out at the start it looks like one of those games that you build a fortress and defend it but looks are deceiving with Wondershot.
