This episode had ups and down and really opened up about Michonne’s past and present self as a badass. We’re introduced to new characters that shape our quest and lose some down the way…but that is what The Walking Dead is all about.
This episode gives players more QTE to get your itchy trigger fingers onto and also the introduction of the method of survival that is Michonne and her Zombie walking.
If you don’t know she basically cuts the arms off of two walkers and also detaches their jaws and ties a rope around their necks and walks them as if she was walking a dog, basically the walkers don’t bother her as they can’t sense her…she looks like a total badass doing it and is true to the comics and TV series which gives this game real authenticity.
I’m still yet to have any laggy glitches that effect the game unlike some of the past Telltale games whereby this can affect the whole concept of the game, the story carried over from the last episode without issue too.
Controls are simple yet perfect for this style of game, with visuals looking of that from a comic book strip, Telltale really do well with their Walking Dead series and have filled a real gap between season 2 and 3 of the original series (although this series doesn’t affect them seasons).
Unlike the first episode this was filled with drama and dramatic moments some i did not see coming which i really like.
