SteamWorld Heist Releases on May 31 for PS4 & PS Vita

Previously released on Nintendo 3DS, SteamWorld Heist is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on May 31 in North America and Europe, developer Image & Form Games announced today. Including cross-buy, it costs $19.99/€19.99 /£15.99 regularly, but there’s a 15% discount if you pre-order in Europe or buy at launch in North America.

Featuring strategy gameplay focused on skill rather than chance, procedurally generated levels, 15-20 hours of playtime, and a New Game+, here’s what you need to know about SteamWorld Heist:

In SteamWorld Heist, you command a robot squad in a series of epic tactical shootouts. It’s turn-based strategy with a twist: You manually aim the guns of your crewmates, allowing for insane skill shots and bullet-bouncing action.

As the captain of a steam-driven pirate crew you will board, loot and shoot your way through enemy spaceships. Overcome the challenges of the vast frontier by upgrading your recruits with unique abilities, weapons – and even stylish hats!

You’ll also be able to buy The Outsider DLC on day one for PS4 and PS Vita. Priced at $4.99/€4.99/£4.49 on 3DS, The Outsider includes Fen, a Vectron outcast, as well as a new plot, missions, enemies, end boss, guns, utilities, and more, all of which blend into the game.
