Battleborn Open Beta up for Pre-Load, Bootcamp Trailer Tells You Everything About the Game

Ahead of the Battleborn open beta going live on April 8 at 10am PT/1pm ET for PlayStation 4, and on April 13 for Xbox One and PC, Gearbox and 2K have put the 7.6GB file up for pre-load on the PlayStation Store.

Here’s what’s included in the beta:

During the Open Beta, you’ll be able to experience the natural progression of Battleborn; including two Story Mode episodes, two Competitive Multiplayer Modes, 25 heroes (some instantly available, some will unlock as you progress), and as you play, you’ll rank up on three different progression systems.

By participating in the beta, PS4 players receive the first Battleborn DLC pack and instant access to Alani upon release. PS4 players also get access to Toby during the beta, which ends on April 18.

Also, keep in mind that beta progression doesn’t transfer to the full game when it launches on May 3.

In the new 12-minute Battleborn Bootcamp trailer today, Oscar Mike and ISIC run you through everything you need to know about the game (click on the different options in the video to skip ahead to certain sections).

Will you be playing the beta this weekend?
