Looks Like Overwatch Is Releasing on May 24

According to an ad that appeared on IGN recently, Overwatch from Blizzard will be releasing on May 24 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Additionally, a separate ad says those who pre-order before April 29 will receive early access to the upcoming open beta on May 3. Presumably, the open beta would go live for everyone shortly after.

May 24 fits in with Blizzard’s previously given spring 2016 launch window for Overwatch, but since nothing official has come from them yet, treat this as a rumor for now.

“Overwatch is a highly stylized team-based shooter set on earth in the near future,” the above video’s description reads. “Choose from a diverse cast of heroes, master extraordinary abilities, and do battle across the globe.”
