Check Out Some Early Gameplay Footage From Deck 13’s RPG The Surge

Thanks to a recent preview event, some early gameplay footage of Deck 13’s action RPG, The Surge, has emerged online. The video above is brought to us by PCGamesN who were in attendance at the event, and it gives us an idea of what to expect from the upcoming title. 

Speaking separately to PC Gamer during the preview event, Creative Director Jan Klose said that The Surge has a complex setting “where it is reasonable why they wouldn’t have guns and ammunition in large numbers.” “As you’re equipped with the exoskeleton, you can attach stuff that your enemies are wearing… but first you need to take it from them,” he explained.

The Surge is scheduled for a 2017 release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
